River Gypsy Cat Frame
The River Gypsy cat frame is the most popular cat frame we sell. It's the perfect cat frame for the solo boater who craves class IV-V water. This frame matches up perfectly with 11'-14' Sotar's ST's and Legend tubes, and Aire's Performance and Wave Destroyer tubes. Most people run this frame solo and empty on serious day runs, or fill the back compartment with gear and do some healthy overnighters (Illinois, South Fork Salmon, Selway). We also offer a removable rear seat bracket for those who want to bring a friend and show them some fun day runs. Another popular option for people running 14'-16' cat tubes is the Gypsy frame with the River Passenger Module. The Gypsy frame is available in powder coated steel or aluminum. The steel Gypsy comes standard with welded oar towers and you get to take your pick of three floor options; tunnel floor, and back half floor, or full floor both ready for webbing. We'll be happy to weave a floor in for you for an additional charge. HD pivoting oar towers are available on the steel Gypsy for an additional charge. The aluminum Gypsy frame comes with the HD pivoting oar towers and powder coat is available for an additional charge.
